“When I first thought about publishing works professionally on Amazon, I tried to search around the site, looking for other men who were doing the same thing. I wanted to see how these other men were doing. It turned out to be very difficult to find male authors writing adult content. At first, I thought there just weren’t that many. I later found out that there are plenty, they just use female pen names. There are a lot of men out there these days who aren’t afraid to pretend to be a woman, just so they can sell a few more copies of their work. Nothing against those who do (I think it takes a lot of balls) but I can’t do it. To me, wearing a metaphorical dress isn’t any different from wearing a real one. If women won’t buy adult content from a man, that’s fine. It just means that I have to write for men, no biggie.”
